Mipa WBC thinner is made for the Mipa WBC waterborne basecoat system. It adjusts the sprayed material to the correct working viscosity after the basecoat colour has been prepared within the Mipa formula and system process. Correct thinning helps the waterborne basecoat lay down evenly, support colour accuracy and create a surface ready for clearcoat after the prescribed flash-off time.
Mipa WBC basecoat data refers to thinning the prepared WBC material with Mipa WBC thinner or Mipa WBS accelerator, depending on the process requirements. The thinner is therefore part of the WBC coating system rather than a general-purpose solvent thinner.
