Mipa PU 500-20 2K PU iron mica matt – Mixed RAL Colour

Mipa PU 500-20 2K PU Iron Mica Topcoat Matt, DB Shades, Mixed RAL colour is a two component polyurethane iron mica topcoat for steel, zinced substrates and aluminium. It is used where a matt protective finish is required on exposed metalwork that has to combine a decorative surface with long term corrosion protection. Bridges, railings, structural steel, piping, plant equipment and outdoor fabrications are typical places where this kind of coating earns its keep.

The iron mica effect gives the surface a technical, durable look while also supporting the protective character of the coating. On parts exposed to weather, moisture, industrial atmosphere or harder service conditions, the cured film helps the finish stay robust and visually steady without the shinier look of a gloss topcoat.

Used over the appropriate primer, the coating completes a corrosion protection build with a matt DB shade finish that remains practical on larger metal surfaces. This iron mica topcoat is mixed with compatible Mipa PU hardeners and adjusted with Mipa 2K thinner, giving a familiar two component handling profile for protective coating work that needs lasting surface performance.
