Pro Mix Industry AK 230-30 KH Thick Film Lacquer Satin Matt Basic Pack is a synthetic resin high build base pack for mixed industrial coatings in the Mipa Pro Mix Industry system. It is intended for AK 230-30 coatings where a satin matt appearance and stronger film build are required on prepared technical surfaces.
High build alkyd coatings are useful on steel parts, castings, frames, machinery and equipment where a fuller coating film is desired. The satin matt finish gives a technical low sheen appearance while the thick film character helps cover shaped surfaces and edges more confidently than a thin decorative coating.
This basic pack must be used inside the Pro Mix Industry process. The required colour, thinner, application viscosity and film build come from the system formula and technical data. It is not a ready mixed paint by itself and should not be used without the correct mixing information.
Prepare the substrate thoroughly, remove rust and contamination, and use the correct primer where required. Mix the AK 230-30 base pack within the Mipa system, stir until uniform and apply controlled layers. Respect drying time before handling or adding further coating steps.
Use the base pack only within the specified Pro Mix Industry formula. Mix accurately, adjust viscosity as required and apply to clean prepared surfaces at the recommended film build.
