It is used on steel, galvanised steel, aluminium, GRP and mineral substrates where a durable epoxy primer build is needed before the following intermediate or topcoat layers.
Pro Mix Industry EP 164-20 2K-EP thick-layer primer basic pack. 14 kg is suitable as a primer in chemical protection systems and underwater coating structures, and it can also be used as an intermediate layer over epoxy zinc dust primer. Its heavy-build character makes it practical for strong film thickness and reliable substrate protection on large fabricated parts and corrosive-duty assemblies.
This base pack is tinted within the Pro Mix Industry EP system and then mixed with the specified hardener. It suits structural steel, tanks, plant components, industrial fabrications and other coated parts where epoxy barrier performance and substantial primer build are required from the first layer upward.
