MP Interface Pad 21-Multi-hole 150 mm Velcro is a soft intermediate pad for 150 mm hook and loop sanding systems. It sits between the backing pad and the sanding disc, adding a flexible foam layer that helps the abrasive follow rounded surfaces, corners and edges with less risk of cutting through filler materials.
The 21-hole layout suits matching 150 mm abrasive discs and sanding pads. The extra cushioning is useful when the surface has curves, transitions or sensitive edges that should not be flattened by a harder backing pad. It helps keep sanding pressure smoother and more forgiving during preparation and finishing stages.
Interface pads are especially useful when refining filler, primer, repaired areas and shaped panels. The soft layer improves adaptation without removing the control of a machine sanding setup. That balance makes the pad practical for accurate finishing before basecoat, clearcoat, polishing or final inspection.
Attach the pad to the sander backing plate, then attach the correct abrasive disc to the pad. Keep the hole pattern aligned for dust extraction where relevant. Replace the pad when the foam loses shape, the hook and loop surface weakens or the pad no longer sits flat. Keep a clean spare pad available for finer stages so coarse sanding dust is not carried into finishing work.
Place the interface pad between the backing pad and the abrasive disc. Align the holes, press the hook and loop surfaces flat, then sand with controlled pressure so the foam can adapt to the surface shape.
