MP LiftTape is made for masking jobs where a rubber seal has to be lifted slightly so the paint edge can sit underneath instead of stopping hard against the visible lip. That creates a cleaner hidden transition and reduces the kind of sharp edge that is easy to see and easy to feel once the job is finished.
The tape combines the lifting and masking function in one product, which keeps the setup faster and neater than improvising with separate strips. It is especially useful around door apertures, trunk openings and other sections where the seal sits close to the panel and the edge needs a cleaner finish.
