Description
Mipa Spot-Sealer-Spray has been especially developed for small sanded-through areas in spot repairs. This low-build, glazing 1K primer has a very smooth flow and low overspray, which means that no further intermediate sanding is required.
About this product
Mipa Spot-Sealer-Spray can be overcoated directly wet-on-wet with basecoats and adheres excellently to iron, steel, zinc and aluminium, providing very high corrosion protection despite low dry film thickness. Excellent for use where sanded- through areas are discovered on the surface to be painted immediately before top coating, these can be sealed with a thin layer of Mipa Spot-Sealer-Spray to protect against corrosion.
What is this product used for?
This basecoat is intended for colour matching and refinishing work before clearcoating. It is used where accurate colour laydown and reliable overcoating with a compatible 2K clearcoat are required.
Use and processing
Prepare the substrate thoroughly and remove grease, dust and loose contamination before coating. Apply even coats and respect the flash-off, drying and recoating times of the full system.
