Mipa 2K-HS-Klarlack CS 44 is a scratch-resistant and easy-to-clean clearcoat based on nanotechnology.
About this product
Because of its extraordinary resistance to micro-scratches (caused e. g. by car wash plants or mechanical abrasion) and to chemicals, Mipa 2K-HS-Klarlack CS 44 is particularly suitable for high-quality partial or complete paintworks on cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and for coating highly stressed parts (e. g. vehicles interior, motorcycle tanks, handle shell). Mipa 2K-HS-Klarlack CS 44 can be applied as topcoat on water-based or solvent-based basecoats.
Typical applications
Use this clearcoat as the final transparent layer over compatible colour coats when a clear look is required. The listed application areas include commercial vehicles, motorcycles, and cars.
Use and processing
Prepare the substrate thoroughly and remove grease, dust and loose contamination before coating. Mix the product in the stated ratio (2:1); adjust with Mipa 2K-Thinner if required. Apply even coats and respect the flash-off, drying and recoating times of the full system.
