Mipa 2K-Klarlack CPE with gloss level 60 – 75 gloss units at a 60° angle is a satin gloss, especially elastic acrylic clearcoat for high-quality complete or partial paintworks in the automotive sector.

This clearcoat ensures a uniform satin gloss clear coat on solvent- or water-based basecoats. Mipa 2K-Klarlack CPE is highly resistant to all weather conditions as well as to chemical and mechanical stresses.
Typical applications
Use this clearcoat as the final transparent layer over compatible colour coats when a clear, gloss look is required. The listed application areas include plastic.
Use and processing
Prepare the substrate thoroughly and remove grease, dust and loose contamination before coating. Mix the product in the stated ratio (2:1) with Mipa 2K-MS-Hardener; adjust with 10 – 15 % Mipa 2K-Verdünnung normal V 25 10 – 15 % Mipa 2K-Verdünnung lang V 40 if required. Apply even coats and respect the flash-off, drying and recoating times of the full system. from +10 °C and up to 80 % relative air humidity. Ensure adequate air ventilation
