Description
The Mipa PL 6 Ziehspachtel is a two-component elastic body filler based on unsaturated polyester resins that offers extended open time and is especially suitable for filling work on commercial vehicles (trucks, rail vehicles, buses).
About this product
Suitable for steel, zinced substrates, aluminium, GRP and commonly used plastics in vehicle construction. Due to its small grain size, this product can also be applied in very thin layers.
Where does this product work best?
Use this filler for repairing uneven areas, shaping contours and preparing the substrate before primer and topcoat. It is intended for repair work where flexibility, adhesion and sanding properties matter.
Application notes
Mix the filler with the supplied hardener in the stated ratio (100:2). Apply in thin layers on a clean, sanded substrate, allow it to cure and then sand to the required contour. From + 10 °C and up to 70 % relative humidity. Ensure adequate air ventilation. Polyester-based putty does not cure anymore at a temperature of below + 10 °C
