Mipa 2K Clearcoat CPE is the satin-gloss option in the Mipa clearcoat selection when a full-gloss finish would be too bright and a matt finish too flat. It gives a uniform silky gloss clear layer and is especially elastic, which makes it highly useful on plastic parts and on special coatings where flexibility matters.
Mipa 2K Clearcoat CPE 1 l silk gloss is used over both solvent-based and water-based basecoats, so it fits a wide selection of modern refinish setups. Its satin-gloss character helps bring out a refined, even finish on complete paintwork or partial repairs without pushing the look into strong gloss reflection. That makes it useful for special effect levels, trim-related finishes and panels where a softer sheen is wanted.
One of its strongest practical advantages is that it already carries the elasticity needed for plastic substrates. That means an extra elasticising additive is not required for those jobs, which keeps the system simpler and avoids another variable during mixing. At the same time, the cured film remains resistant to weather, chemical exposure and normal mechanical stress.
The 1 litre size is well suited to repair and refinishing work where the clearcoat needs to land at a satin-gloss level and stay flexible. When the surface calls for a smooth, even silky sheen rather than a bright polished look, CPE is the clearcoat chosen for that finish.
