Mipa 2K Clearcoat Spray Matt is a two-component aerosol clearcoat for matt clear-over-base work. The hardener is integrated in the can and activated before use, giving the applied film the durability and resistance of a chemically curing 2K clearcoat in a compact spray format.
The coating is made for clear-over-base refinishing where a matt final appearance is required rather than gloss. It flows well, lays down evenly and suits local repair work, refinished components and other smaller areas that need a durable matt clear layer without setting up a spray gun.
Once activated, the clearcoat offers strong resistance to weathering, chemical exposure and mechanical strain, and it is also fuel-resistant. That makes it suitable on exposed coated parts where the finish has to keep its matt appearance while still standing up to regular use.
The 400 ml can gives a practical repair size, and the pot life after activation is around 5 to 6 hours, which leaves enough working time for controlled application.
