Description
Mipa 2K-HS-Carbonic-Klarlack is a high-quality acrylic clearcoat that has been developed especially for clear coating synthetic fibre substrates (e. g. glass composite materials or carbon fibre composite materials).
Product details
Its high filling power as well as its insensitivity to blister allows a safe application even with high film thicknesses. After a drying of 15 minutes at 60 °C or alternatively 25 minutes at 40 °C (when using the hardener Mipa 2K-HS-Härter HS 25) plus cooling time it is possible to start already the sanding and polishing process.
Where does this product work best?
Use this clearcoat as the final transparent layer over compatible colour coats when a clear look is required. The listed application areas include glass.
How to use
Prepare the substrate thoroughly and remove grease, dust and loose contamination before coating. Mix the product in the stated ratio (2:1); adjust with Spray viscosity ready for use after addition of hardener if required. Apply even coats and respect the flash-off, drying and recoating times of the full system. From +10 °C and up to 80 % relative air humidity. Ensure an adequate air ventilation
