Mipa 2K-HS Clearcoat CS 44 is a high-gloss clearcoat for refinish work where the finished surface has to look good and stay tough in daily use. It is based on nanotechnology and is developed to give strong resistance to micro-scratches, chemical attack and the small abrasive marks that build up on highly exposed painted parts.
This is the kind of clearcoat chosen for complete refinishing, high-quality panel repairs, motorcycles, commercial vehicle parts and other surfaces that are expected to keep their gloss under regular cleaning and handling. It is especially useful on surfaces that are washed often or touched often, where a conventional clear may show wear patterns more quickly.
The finish lays over both water-based and solvent-based basecoats, which keeps it flexible inside different refinish systems. This clearcoat adds a clear protective finish with gloss, flow and resistance for the intended repair or refinishing job. Full mechanical and scratch resistance develops after the proper curing period.
