Mipa BC Ready Mixed forms a solventborne two-layer basecoat for colour matching in professional refinishing systems. BC carries the colour, metallic effect, pearl effect or deep black tone before a compatible Mipa 2K clearcoat seals the finish. The basecoat layer is built for complete and partial refinishing work on cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and industrial coating work where a controlled colour layer is required before the final clearcoat stage.
BC Ready Mixed is supplied as a finished colour material for Mipa BC applications. The coating is reduced 2:1 by volume with Mipa BC-Thinner, giving the spray viscosity needed for controlled basecoat application. Thin, even coats support colour uniformity, effect orientation and a clean base before clearcoat. Metallic and pearl shades depend strongly on even film build and correct flash-off, while solid colours and Super Black build a stable colour field beneath the final protective coat.
The BC layer does not replace the clearcoat. A compatible Mipa 2K clearcoat creates the final gloss, weather resistance and surface protection. The basecoat role keeps the colour layer focused on shade accuracy and effect formation, while the clearcoat supplies the final durable surface. BC Ready Mixed suits refinishing environments where colour families, effect colours and different pack sizes must stay technically consistent across partial repairs and larger coating work.
