Mipa PUR HS Single-layer Aluminium is a 2K polyurethane HS aluminium paint for professional single-layer aluminium finishes. Does it need a clearcoat?
No separate clearcoat is normally needed for the single-layer aluminium finish when processed correctly.
Why is aluminium paint harder to apply than solid colour?
Metallic aluminium finishes can show mottling when the pigment orientation is uneven. Mipa highlights special pigmentation to support safer application.
