Mipa WBS Corrosion Inhibitor is an additive for waterborne paint systems where bare or blasted steel needs better protection against flash rust during the coating process. It is mixed into the water-based paint to reduce the risk of rust bleed-through while the coating is still in the wet and early drying stages.
This is particularly useful when coating freshly prepared steel parts, sandblasted components and other bare metal surfaces that can react quickly with moisture. Instead of acting as a standalone primer or cleaner, it supports the waterborne coating already being used and helps it behave more safely on exposed steel.
Mipa WBS corrosion inhibitor 1 l is added in a low dosage and stirred in thoroughly before application. That makes it a practical problem-solver for waterborne industrial coating lines and maintenance work where flash rust can interrupt the finish quality or force extra surface preparation before the top layers are built up.
The 1 litre bottle is easy to keep with waterborne primers and topcoats as a process additive for specific jobs. It is a focused system product for bare steel in water-based coating work where flash-rust control matters from the first wet pass onward. It keeps the system controlled from mixing or preparation through to the next coating step.
