MP Tack Cloth AntiDust is a modern tack cloth supplied in a dispenser box of 50 pieces for final dust removal before coating. Its purpose is to pick up loose particles from the surface so they do not remain in place or move back into the paint during the next application step.
The cloth uses a specially webbed fabric construction and an adhesive that is activated by hand warmth and light pressure. That detail changes the wiping behaviour: the dust is collected where the cloth is passed instead of just being pushed from one spot to the next.
This more selective dust pick-up is useful shortly before painting, when the surface already looks clean but still carries fine loose particles that can cause visible dirt in the finish. A tack cloth at this stage gives the final wipe a much more purpose-built action than a dry rag.
Because the cloth only becomes tacky with use, it remains easier to handle and less likely to grab unnecessarily when first taken from the box. That supports more controlled use on prepared surfaces that should be cleaned lightly rather than rubbed aggressively.
For the last dust-removal step before coating, AntiDust gives a cleaner final wipe and helps reduce one of the most common avoidable finish defects: loose dust left on the panel at the moment of spraying.
