MP grinding disc “GoldFilm” 75 mm | unperforated | Velcro (Mipa)

MP GoldFilm Sanding Disc 75 mm Unperforated Hook and Loop is part of the MP GoldFilm abrasive selection, a premium sanding line built on plastic film backing instead of standard paper. That film construction gives the disc a thin, flexible, and highly tear-resistant feel, which helps it sit evenly on the backing pad and maintain a controlled contact pattern during machine sanding. The result is a disc that stays tidy around the edge, follows shaped areas well, and leaves a homogeneous sanding pattern across the surface.

The 75 mm diameter works well on common orbital sanding machines, while the unperforated layout supports the matching dust extraction pattern on the backing pad. This helps remove sanding dust from the working area, reduces loading, and keeps the abrasive cutting more evenly over longer runs. On filler, primer surfacer, and prepared paint surfaces, that cleaner running character helps the disc maintain control from one pass to the next.

The GoldFilm selection covers coarse, intermediate, and finer grades, so the same disc line can be used from early stock removal through refinement. Coarser grits help shape filler and level primer, medium grits refine the scratch pattern, and finer grades prepare the surface for the next coating or finishing stage. Keeping the same abrasive line through several steps also makes sanding behaviour more predictable as the process progresses.

Because the film backing remains stable under pressure, the disc supports even sanding on flat sections, shaped panels, curves, edges, and repaired zones where scratch consistency matters. That makes the available selection practical for daily sanding work where fast grit changes, dependable dust extraction, and a uniform finish all matter on the same job.

What is it used for?

  • Machine sanding filler, primer surfacer, and prepared paint surfaces
  • Using dust extraction through the matching backing-pad hole pattern
  • Moving from stock removal to refinement within one abrasive line
  • Keeping a homogeneous sanding pattern on flat and shaped areas
