MP lambskin bonnet 150 mm Velcro (Mipa)

MP lambskin bonnet 150 mm Velcro is a high quality polishing bonnet made from technical lambskin mixed fabric. It is designed for machine polishing with hook and loop backing and is excellent for use in combination with MP ONE-STEP Polish.

Lambskin style polishing pads are valued for stronger correction ability than many soft foam finishing pads. The 150 mm size gives good coverage on panels while still remaining controllable around curved surfaces and edges when used with the correct machine, backing pad and polish.

This bonnet is useful for paint correction, gloss restoration and polishing steps where the selected compound or one step polish needs a more active pad. The hook and loop backing allows quick attachment to a compatible 150 mm backing plate. Clean pad condition remains important because hardened polish residue can create marks instead of refinement.

Prime the pad for the polish method, work at the correct machine speed and keep the pad clean during use. Do not overload it with polish. Brush or clean residue from the fibres as needed and stop if the surface or pad becomes too hot.

What is it used for?

  • Machine polishing with a compatible backing plate
  • Use with MP ONE-STEP Polish
  • Paint correction and gloss restoration
  • Polishing larger panels with a 150 mm bonnet

How is it used?

Attach the bonnet to a compatible hook and loop backing plate, apply the selected polish correctly and work with controlled machine speed and pressure. Keep the bonnet clean throughout polishing.
