MP Polishing Sponge Spot 75 mm Velcro is a compact polishing pad for local correction and detail polishing. The 75 mm size gives precise contact on smaller surfaces, edges, narrow sections and spot repairs where a larger polishing pad would be harder to control.
Spot polishing is useful after sanding marks, dust inclusions, small dull areas or local repair edges have been prepared for polishing. The compact sponge allows controlled pressure in the target area without spreading polishing action too far across surrounding paint. The Velcro backing makes pad changes quick when used with a compatible backing plate.
This sponge suits local work on cured clearcoat and paint surfaces when used with the correct polish and machine speed. It can support small refinishing corrections, detail work around curves, motorcycle parts, trim areas, tight panels and other compact surfaces where accuracy matters more than broad coverage.
Use only on fully cured and properly prepared surfaces. Match the sponge to the polish, backing plate and machine movement. Keep the pad clean during use, do not overload it with compound and reduce pressure on edges or raised body lines to avoid heat build up.
Attach the sponge to a suitable Velcro backing plate, apply the correct polish and work with controlled speed and light pressure. Clean or replace the sponge when compound build up reduces polishing performance.
