MP Reinforcement Fabric 3.6 m x 120 mm is a strengthening fabric for use with the MP 2K PU adhesive repair system. It helps reinforce plastic repairs from behind or within the repair build up, giving the adhesive system extra support where a crack, break, split or missing section needs more than surface filling alone.
Plastic repairs often need a stable backing structure before shaping and finishing can begin. The fabric gives the adhesive more area to grip and helps spread load across the damaged zone. That can be especially useful around bumper edges, mounting tabs, covers, trims and shaped plastic parts that flex during handling or use.
The 120 mm width gives enough coverage for many repair areas while still being easy to cut to the required size. The 3.6 metre length allows multiple repairs from one roll. Use it as part of a complete repair process with suitable cleaning, sanding, adhesive application and curing time.
Cut the reinforcement fabric to fit the damaged area before adhesive application. Abrade and clean the plastic for the adhesive system, apply MP 2K PU adhesive and press the fabric into the adhesive while it is still workable. Allow the repair to cure fully before sanding, filling or coating.
Prepare the plastic surface, cut the fabric to size and embed it into the fresh MP 2K PU adhesive. Press it flat, allow full curing and continue with shaping or finishing only after the repair has hardened.
