MP Wet Film Thickness Gauge is a six-sided aluminium gauge for measuring wet coating thickness straight after application. It is used while the film is still fresh, when film build can still be checked and corrected before the coating cures.

This type of gauge is pressed into the wet coating so the wet layer height can be read from the contact points on the measuring edges. That gives a fast practical check on how much material has actually been laid down on the substrate.
