Pro Mix Aqua Colour Concentrates are waterborne pigment pastes for the Mipa Pro Mix Aqua tinting system. They are not a ready to spray coating by themselves. They bring controlled colour strength into compatible water based binder systems so solid shades and simple effect shades can be produced with repeatable accuracy.
Mipa designed Pro Mix Aqua around a compact pigment paste selection that can cover a wide colour spectrum. The available selection includes oxide colours, true colours, white, violet, green, carbon black and aluminium. That makes the concentrate selection suitable for refinish, restoration, fabrication and industrial coating situations where a waterborne colour system is preferred.
Good colour creation starts with controlled materials. Pro Mix Aqua Colour Concentrates help keep the colour side of the coating system consistent, clean and traceable. The pigment paste format is especially useful when the finished coating has to match an existing object, brand colour, repair area or project specification without treating the concentrate as a standalone paint.
Before use, the colour formula, binder system and current technical information should always be followed. Correct mixing, clean tools and proper homogenisation are important because pigment pastes only perform correctly when they are fully dispersed in the matching system material.
