Pro Mix Aqua WAY 2020-20 is the Mipa WAY 2020-20 water dilutable WBS airless single coat paint in matt finish. It is made for industrial coating where efficient airless application, direct adhesion and active corrosion protection are needed on correctly prepared metal surfaces.
WAY 2020-20 is suitable for steel, zinced substrates and aluminium. In a single coat structure, the coating uses 50 to 70 microns dry film thickness. In a two coat structure, it can be used as the topcoat over a suitable WAY primer build. This gives the coating flexibility for direct systems and higher specification coating builds.
The water dilutable character gives WAY 2020-20 a cleaner system profile than solvent heavy alternatives, while the airless application role makes it suitable for larger objects, metal parts, frames and industrial surfaces. The matt finish keeps the surface practical and low glare.
Correct preparation remains essential. Steel should be cleaned and de rusted as required. Zinc and aluminium need correct cleaning and surface preparation before coating. WAY 2020-20 should be processed with the correct thinning, application, film build and drying conditions. The coating result depends on both the material and the quality of surface preparation.
