About this product
Applied on the chipboards, Mipa PU 248-50 is classified B1 according to the test to determine the fire behaviour as per DIN 4102-1. This high-quality 2K polyurethane acrylic paint with excellent vertical stability is suitable to coat metal structures, facade elements, vehicles as well as machines and constructions exposed to extreme conditions.
Typical applications
This product is intended for professional coating work on commercial vehicles with a gloss, semi-gloss finish.
Use and processing
Prepare the substrate thoroughly and remove grease, dust and loose contamination before coating. Mix the product in the stated ratio (4:1 by weight; 3:1 by volume) with Mipa PU 914-xx; adjust with Mipa 2K-Thinner Pricegroup I-III if required. Apply even coats and respect the flash-off, drying and recoating times of the full system. From + 10 °C and up to 80 % relative humidity. Ensure adequate air ventilation
