Mipa Pro Mix Industry PU 500-20 Matt 2K PU Iron Mica Base Pack is the Pro Mix Industry base pack for mixed matt micaceous shades in the PU 500-20 coating. After tinting, it becomes a 2K polyurethane iron mica topcoat for structural steel, industrial fabrications, machinery and facade sections that should combine a durable protective finish with a distinctly technical metallic look.
The iron mica character gives beams, supports, cladding elements, machine frames and exposed steelwork a darker, layered surface appearance that fits demanding industrial surroundings well. The matt finish keeps the visual effect controlled and understated while still showing the depth and structure of the metallic pigment.
Colour is mixed to order in the PU 500-20 system, so the same iron mica topcoat can be matched to repeat equipment colours, repair shades and project-specific solid colours without changing finish or product character. That helps keep structural parts, repeat fabrications and later repairs in the same DB-style appearance without changing coating type or finish character.
Its matt appearance is useful wherever glare should stay low while the coated surface still needs the toughness of a 2K PU finish.
