Mipa Rallye black matt is a ready mixed 2K HS acrylic vehicle paint in a uniform matt black finish. This colour is intended for complete and partial refinishing where a deep matt appearance is wanted without mixing a custom shade first. It is weather resistant and yellowing resistant, which makes it suitable for durable exterior vehicle paintwork with a consistent matt look.
Rallye black matt is especially attractive when the finish itself is the reason for the purchase. The colour and gloss level are already defined, so the focus stays on obtaining a clean matt black surface on passenger cars and other vehicles. This paint is not about effect pigments or colour search. It is about an even black matt result that looks deliberate, clean and stable across the whole panel or vehicle.
Available sizes are 1 litre and 3 litre. Mixing is specified at 3:1 with Mipa 2K-HS hardeners or 2:1 with Mipa 2K-MS hardeners, with Mipa 2K thinner as the thinner. That gives refinishers flexibility inside the Mipa system while keeping the finish itself fixed and recognisable.
