Mipa P 118 Ultra PE light filler is a low-viscosity 2K polyester lightweight filler for evening dents, shallow damage and irregular surfaces before primer and paint. The self-levelling consistency helps the material spread smoothly across the repair area, so the surface builds evenly instead of dragging or leaving unnecessary edges. That makes P 118 Ultra especially useful when a repair needs a clean filler layer that can be shaped quickly and brought close to final contour with less finishing effort.
The very smooth surface is the main strength of Mipa P 118 Ultra. A pore-free finish that can often remove the need for a separate fine putty step. The filler also sands with high abrasion after a short drying time, which helps reduce the waiting time between filling, shaping and further surface preparation. Adhesion is specified for iron, steel, aluminium, galvanised substrates, GRP and wood, giving P 118 Ultra a broad fit for vehicle repair, restoration, panel preparation, GRP repair and mixed-material refinishing.
Mipa P 118 Ultra is mixed with Mipa Hardener P at 100:2 by weight. At 20 °C, the pot life is around 3 to 4 minutes, so the mixed amount should match the real repair area and be applied promptly. The green colour makes the applied filler easy to see during shaping and sanding. Mipa P 118 Ultra is a strong filler when smooth application, fast sanding and reduced pore filling are more important than simply building heavy mass.
Prepare the surface clean, dry and free from grease, then abrade it properly before filling. Mix Mipa P 118 Ultra with the correct amount of Mipa Hardener P and apply a controlled layer over the repair area. After curing, sand the filler to shape before continuing with primer, filler or the chosen refinish system.
