Mipa 1K Glass Primer is the preparatory coating used when paint has to adhere to glass. It creates the bonding layer needed before compatible Mipa 2K acrylic and PUR topcoats or before basecoat-clearcoat systems are applied, so the paint system starts from the right first step on a surface that is naturally difficult to coat.
Mipa 1K Glass Primer 1 l is useful on painted glass parts, design details, decorative glass sections and other applications where glass is no longer just a transparent element but part of the finished coated surface. It is applied in a thin, controlled layer and then allowed to react and dry fully before the next coating stage follows.
Because the primer itself is not there to build film thickness, it keeps the focus on adhesion. That helps the later paint layers sit on a better prepared surface instead of relying on direct grip to bare glass. Where especially high adhesion demands exist, it can also be combined in the specified way with the matching glass hardener route in the topcoat system.
The 1 litre pack is suited to spray-gun application and repeated use on coating jobs that involve glass substrates. When the goal is a durable painted finish on glass rather than a temporary decorative effect, this primer gives the surface the correct base for the rest of the system.
