Description
High-quality, water-based 2K PU paint for coatings on plastics like for example TPU, PA, ABS and PP for interior and exterior use. This paint is characterized by its particularly high mechanical and chemical resistance.
Product details
Its special formulation allows the product to be used as ready-for-use colour paint or unpigmented as clear protection coat (clearcoat), without changing mixing ratio with the hardener. After curing, the product fulfils the requirements of saliva and sweat resistance according to DIN 53160-1 and -2.
What is this product used for?
Use this clearcoat as the final transparent layer over compatible colour coats when a gloss look is required. The listed application areas include plastics, ABS, TPU, and PA.
How to use
Prepare the substrate thoroughly and remove grease, dust and loose contamination before coating. Mix the product in the stated ratio (6:1 by weight; 5:1 by volume) with Mipa WPU 9805-25; adjust with Mipa WBS VE-Wasser if required. Apply even coats and respect the flash-off, drying and recoating times of the full system. From + 10 °C and up to 70 % relative humidity. Ensure adequate air ventilation
