Mipa 2K-EP-Expressprimer EPX is a fast-drying wet-on-wet epoxy primer for repair and vehicle construction work where the next coating stage needs to follow quickly. Its combination of smooth flow, fast drying and strong overspray absorption helps the surface stay clean and ready for topcoating after a short waiting time.
This primer is especially useful when steel, aluminium or galvanised parts need a corrosion-protective epoxy base but the job cannot sit idle for long. One light application can be overcoated after roughly 20 minutes, while a fuller build still stays ready within a short time. If sanding is required, Mipa 2K-EP-Expressprimer EPX 1 l is also sandable after only a few hours at room temperature.
That makes EPX a good choice for repair work that needs both pace and reliability. It can also be used before polyester body filler and polyester spray filler, which gives more freedom in structuring the repair process without moving away from a sound epoxy start. The light grey colour also keeps coverage easy to judge during application.
