Mipa 2K Zinc Dust Paint is a specialist zinc-dust coating for long-term cathodic corrosion protection on bare steel. It is used where the substrate has been fully derusted and blast-cleaned and where the coating system must begin with a highly protective zinc-rich layer rather than with a general-purpose primer.
Mipa 2K zinc dust paint 19 kg net mixing ratio 19:1 by weight is intended only for bare, completely rust-free steel prepared to blast-cleaning degree Sa 21/2. On that properly prepared surface it forms the first protective layer in corrosion-control systems for structural steel and other exposed metal parts that need a durable anti-corrosion build.
It can be recoated with compatible Mipa 2K epoxy and 2K PU systems that are designed for corrosion-protection structures under DIN EN ISO 12944. Its approvals and high zinc content underline its role as a performance coating for serious steel protection rather than for decorative finishing.
The 19 kg pack suits industrial corrosion-protection work, structural steel priming and specification-based coating projects.
