Mipa P 27 Crystal is a transparent polyester filler developed for visible carbon fibre and other composite surfaces where the structure beneath the coating needs to remain visible. It fills pores and minor irregularities without covering the substrate in an opaque filler colour.
This makes it useful on carbon parts, composite panels and timber surfaces that should stay visually open under the final finish. Instead of building several extra clearcoat layers with repeated sanding, the filler closes the surface first and gives the next clear layer a much cleaner base.
Mipa P 27 Crystal 1 kg PE transparent filler incl. hardener MEKP can be overcoated directly with Mipa 2K-HS-Carbonic clearcoat after the surface has been filled and sanded. Its UV-resistant character helps keep yellowing low, which matters on clear-finished parts where the substrate remains part of the visual result.
The 1 kg pack with MEKP hardener suits focused composite repair and finishing work. It is a specialist filler for transparent surface preparation rather than general opaque filling, and it helps move visible carbon and composite parts toward a cleaner final clear finish with less extra build.
