Mipa P 99 Multi Star styrene-reduced is a beige polyester filler and putty for both filling and finishing work. It is made for repair areas that need a filler capable of building shape while still sanding easily enough for finer surface preparation. The material is supplied with Mipa Hardener P and is suitable for a broad substrate coverage.
Adhesion is supported on steel plates, zinced plates, aluminium, tinned surfaces, wood and GRP. The low styrene content is below 10 percent, while the filler keeps the short drying time and easy sanding behaviour expected from the Multi Star selection. This makes P 99 Multi Star styrene-reduced useful for everyday panel repairs, mixed-material restoration, GRP work and shape correction where one filler needs to cover more than one role.
Mipa P 99 Multi Star styrene-reduced is mixed with Mipa Hardener P at 100:2 by weight. At 20 °C, pot life is around 3 to 4 minutes and sanding is possible after about 20 minutes. The beige colour gives a neutral repair surface before primer and coating. Used correctly, the filler creates a stable, sandable base that can move from filling into finishing without unnecessary extra material steps.
Apply Mipa P 99 Multi Star styrene-reduced to a clean, dry, degreased and abraded surface. Mix thoroughly with the correct amount of Mipa Hardener P, spread the filler evenly and sand after curing before the next preparation or coating step.
