Mipa P 20 repair kit is made for repairs where ordinary filler alone is not the right answer. The kit combines polyester repair resin, hardener and glass fabric so larger holes, torn sections and weakened areas can be bridged with a reinforced laminate. It is useful on GRP parts, car body sheets and mixed repair areas where strength and shape need to be rebuilt before the surface is filled and finished.
The repair resin has a low styrene content and cures quickly with benzoyl peroxide hardener. Used together with glass fabric, glass mat or unwoven fibre glass, it forms a reinforced repair layer that can span damage and restore a stable base. That makes Mipa P 20 suitable for damage around holes, cracks, panel edges, GRP parts, add-on parts and areas where the repair must carry more structure than a normal surface filler can provide.
The kit format is practical because the main repair materials are supplied together. The resin wets the glass fabric, the fabric provides reinforcement, and the hardener starts the curing reaction. After curing, the area can be further shaped and finished with the correct Mipa filler and coating system. Mipa P 20 repair kit is a useful starting point for stronger repair work before contour filling, primer and paint are applied.
Clean, abrade and degrease the repair area before applying the mixed resin and glass fabric. Build the repair in controlled layers, allow the laminate to cure, then continue with shaping and filling. Mipa P 20 works best where the damaged area needs reinforcement before the final surface is created.
