Mipa 1K Adhesion Promoter is the liquid format of Mipa’s colourless bonding primer for difficult substrates. It is used when the surface itself is the problem: smooth plastics, polished metals, chrome-like parts, anodised aluminium, stainless steel or other hard-to-coat materials that need a reliable bonding layer before the colour coats go on.
The advantage of Mipa 1K Adhesion Promoter Colourless 1 l is the way it simplifies the first step. On many substrates it removes the need for heavy sanding and still leaves a clear, thin adhesion layer that is ready for further coating. That is especially useful on shaped plastic parts and trim pieces where aggressive preparation is awkward or where the part benefits from controlled preparation without cutting back more material than necessary.
Because it dries colourless, it is easy to use under a wide selection of colours and also under clearcoats. It suits repair work on plastic components, metal trim parts and mixed-material surfaces where the topcoat needs a dependable base instead of risking weak adhesion on a difficult substrate.
