Description
Mipa BC-Additiv VDG-HV is a colourless additive to increase the spray viscosity of Mipa BC 2-Schicht Basislacke (2-layer basecoats).
About this product
This increase in viscosity makes sense especially at high processing temperatures as these conditions generally lead to a drop in the spray viscosity and can adversely affect the processability of BC 2-Schicht Basislacke. Mipa BC-Additiv VDG-HV is added instead of the thinner “BC-VDG”(= Mipa BC-Verdünnung, thinner), which is listed in BC-formulation with 20% by weight.
Typical applications
This basecoat is intended for colour matching and refinishing work before clearcoating. It is used where accurate colour laydown and reliable overcoating with a compatible 2K clearcoat are required.
How to use
Prepare the substrate thoroughly and remove grease, dust and loose contamination before coating. Apply even coats and respect the flash-off, drying and recoating times of the full system.
