Mipa P 97 SWITCH BLUE 1.6 kg incl. hardener is a colour changing polyester filler for filling and shaping repair areas before further coating. The blue filler turns grey during the drying process, making the curing stage visible before sanding.
P 97 SWITCH BLUE adheres to sheet steel, galvanised sheet metal, aluminium, tin plated surfaces, GRP and wood. That makes it useful for body repair, metalwork, restoration, composite panels and surface correction where a smooth, sandable filler is needed.
The filler offers short drying time, easy sanding and pore free application even in higher layer thicknesses. The colour shift gives an immediate visual guide during repair work, reducing uncertainty when the surface is ready to shape and continue with primer or filler surfacer.
Mix thoroughly with the included Mipa hardener P at the official 100:2 ratio by weight. Apply only to clean, dry and sanded substrates. After curing, sand the repair area to shape and continue with the suitable Mipa undercoat or finishing system.
The blue to grey signal is especially helpful near edges, contours and shallow repair zones because the curing progress can be judged visually before the sanding block touches the surface.
