Mipa RC 255-30 is a special chlorinated rubber topcoat for brush and roller application on surfaces that need a practical protective coating rather than a spray-only finish. The thixotropic consistency helps the paint stay controllable during application, especially on edges, profiles, upright areas and larger sections where a flowing industrial topcoat would be harder to manage. The satin matt finish gives coated surfaces a purposeful technical appearance without unnecessary gloss.
Mipa RC 255-30 is used for pool, pond and renovation coating where the correct Mipa coating structure is followed. Typical uses include a chemical protection coating, as traffic marking paint, as an anti-corrosion coating and for coating or recoating swimming pools, paddling pools and garden ponds. Pool and pond use must follow the specific Mipa Pool Ruc technical information, because water exposure and substrate build-up demand the correct coating structure.
The topcoat is applied by paint brush or roller and may be thinned with Mipa UN Thinner or Mipa Thinner UN 21. At 20 °C, the coating is dust dry after about 5 to 10 minutes, set to touch after about 30 to 35 minutes and recoatable after about 24 hours. Full curing takes around 8 to 10 days at 20 °C. Mipa RC 255-30 is a useful coating when strong practical protection, satin matt appearance and non-spray application need to come together in one 5 kg industrial paint.
Use Mipa RC 255-30 on suitable prepared substrates where chemical resistance, anti-corrosion protection, traffic marking or pool-related coating performance is required. The surface build-up, primer selection and drying time must match the intended exposure.
