Mipa WPU 2425-30 is a waterborne 2K polyurethane topcoat for coated metal that has to stay sharp under demanding conditions. It is suited to vehicles, metal facades, machines and constructions exposed to high strain, and that immediately places it above general-purpose colour coats. The satin matt finish adds a subtle technical sheen that gives the colour more depth than a flat matt, while still keeping reflections controlled across large panels and visible parts. This keeps the adjustment controlled inside the intended Mipa mixing or coating system.
For many refinishers, this is the most versatile finish in the WPU 2425 selection. Satin matt looks clean on machinery, transport-related parts and architectural metal, but it is also practical to live with because the surface feels less stark than matt and less revealing than semi gloss or gloss. This coating is backed by very high resistance to chemicals and UV radiation, together with strong water, solvent, scratch and mechanical resistance. Long open time and excellent overspray absorption also make it well suited to larger spray jobs where a uniform finish matters.
In use, WPU 2425-30 is a coating for parts that need to look professionally finished for the long term. It fits vehicle components, machine housings, fabricated assemblies, metal cladding and frame systems where custom colour, weather exposure and surface durability all come together in one job. When used with Mipa WPU 9425-25 hardener in the correct 4:1 mix, it delivers a high-quality satin matt result that balances appearance and practical resistance very well.
