Mipa WPU 4005-10 is developed for premium plastic coating work where both substrate suitability and long-term finish matter. It is a waterborne 2K PU system for interior and exterior use and is suitable for both flexible and rigid plastic substrates. That makes it appropriate for technical housings, plastic machine parts, protective covers, trim sections and moulded components that should keep a tidy appearance under regular use.
WPU 4005-10 is built for plastic rather than borrowed from a metal-coating system, and that makes a difference on challenging substrates. TPU, PA, ABS and PP are among the intended plastics, with especially high mechanical and chemical resistance for interior and exterior use. That makes it useful where plastic parts are handled regularly, cleaned often or exposed to weather without being allowed to look tired too quickly.
The matt finish helps the coating settle into the part rather than dominate it. On visible plastics, that can create a cleaner and more controlled appearance with less glare and a more technical overall look. For equipment parts and moulded assemblies that should appear solid, neat and understated, the low-sheen finish is often more convincing than a brighter gloss surface.
