Mipa P 97 SWITCH 1.6 kg incl. hardener is a colour changing polyester filler for filling, smoothing and shaping repair areas. The green filler turns beige during the drying process, giving a clear visual indication that the material has cured far enough for the next step.
P 97 SWITCH adheres to sheet steel, galvanised sheet metal, aluminium, tin plated surfaces, GRP and wood. That broad substrate coverage makes it useful for vehicle repair, restoration, composite work, metal part repair and surface correction before primer or filler surfacer application.
The filler is designed for short drying time, easy sanding and pore free application even in higher layer thicknesses. Smooth spreading helps shape damaged or uneven areas, while the colour change makes the sanding point easier to judge by sight. That is especially helpful when several repair spots are being prepared at once.
Correct mixing with the included Mipa hardener P is important. The official mixing ratio is 100:2 by weight. Apply only to clean, dry and properly sanded substrates. After curing, sand to shape and continue with the suitable Mipa primer, filler or coating system for the repair area.
