Mipa WPA 2100-40 is a waterborne 1K PU acrylic topcoat for wood surfaces that need a finish with real day-to-day staying power. It is designed for common wood species and is used on furniture, stairs, wooden floors and parquet where the coating has to look calm and even while still standing up to regular contact. The satin matt finish keeps reflections under control, which helps wood surfaces look natural, tidy and professionally finished instead of overly shiny.
A strong point of this system is the way it combines a furniture-grade appearance with practical durability. It is suitable for wood furniture, steps and floors, and secondary trade pages consistently highlight abrasion resistance, scratch resistance and weathering resistance. That gives the coating a broad role across interior joinery and protected exterior wood where surfaces are touched, cleaned and used instead of simply viewed. It can be brushed, rolled, curtain coated or flow coated, which makes it useful both for bespoke pieces and for repeat finishing runs.
This custom-colour format is especially convincing when the colour itself is part of the finished look rather than just a protective layer. On garden tables, benches, fitted wood elements, stair details and parquet edges, WPA 2100-40 helps create a smooth, even film that keeps its colour and keeps the substrate looking well maintained. It can also be used on properly prepared plastics named by Mipa, which makes it handy when a project includes matching wood and compatible plastic parts in the same visual direction.
