Mipa WPU 2220-30 is a waterborne 2K polyurethane industry topcoat for painted metalwork that has to stay presentable under real service conditions. It is suitable for machines, structural elements, agricultural machinery and construction equipment, so this is not a decorative light-duty coating. It is intended for work where the finish needs to cope with weather exposure, outdoor storage, repeated cleaning and the everyday knocks that come with industrial use. The satin matt surface helps large painted areas look even and controlled without the harder reflection of a gloss finish.
A major advantage of WPU 2220-30 is its straightforward industrial coating character. The system combines UV and weather resistance with easy application, and uses a familiar 6:1 by weight or 5:1 by volume mixing ratio with Mipa WPU 9400-25 or WPU 9000-25 hardener. That makes it a practical choice for agricultural implements, fabricated parts, machinery housings and protective steelwork where a reliable waterborne 2K finish is preferred over a lighter 1K coating.
For refinishers, this topcoat works best when the job calls for durable custom colour with a more technical satin matt appearance. It suits machine bodies, frames, housings, brackets, metal covers and finished structural parts that need outdoor resistance and a tidy final look. The finish keeps reflections subdued, helps larger panels appear calmer and supports an industrial paint result that still looks sharp on visible equipment.
