Mipa WPU 2425-50 is a high-class waterborne 2K polyurethane topcoat for metal surfaces that need a durable finish with more visual brightness than satin matt but without stepping all the way into full gloss. It is suited to vehicles, metal facades, machines and constructions exposed to high strain, which makes it a strong candidate for visible industrial and architectural paintwork. The semi-gloss finish brings out colour more clearly than a flatter sheen and tends to make custom colours feel cleaner and more lively on formed metal surfaces.
This finish level is especially useful when the coating has to look crisp while still remaining practical in service. Semi gloss often cleans more easily than matt finishes, shows colour depth well and still keeps reflections under better control than gloss. The WPU 2425 line offers outstanding resistance to chemicals and UV radiation, while the coating also offers high water resistance, solvent resistance, scratch resistance and resistance to chemical and mechanical strain. The long open time and strong overspray absorption further support uniform spray application on larger areas.
For refinishers, WPU 2425-50 is a very workable middle ground for high-quality custom-colour projects. It suits machine housings, vehicle parts, structural elements and metal cladding where the finish should look premium and easy to maintain without becoming too reflective. In the right system build, it delivers a durable semi-gloss surface that reads clean, solid and professional under everyday industrial or exterior use.
