Mipa WPU 4005-10 is a waterborne 2K PU coating made specifically for premium coating on plastic parts. It is intended for both flexible and rigid substrates and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, which makes it useful on much more than light decorative plastics. Housings, covers, trim pieces and technical mouldings all sit comfortably within its scope when the finished surface needs to look refined and keep performing in service.
This plastic coating is built around high mechanical and chemical resistance and is suitable for substrates such as TPU, PA, ABS and PP. That makes the coating a strong choice for parts that are handled, cleaned or exposed to varying conditions. Because it can also be used unpigmented as a clear protective coat without altering the mixing ratio, the system has a flexibility that is valuable in plastic-coating work where protection and appearance often need to be balanced carefully.
The matt finish is useful where reflections get in the way of the part. On housings, covers, trim pieces, technical components and moulded plastic assemblies, WPU 4005-10 leaves a calmer, more restrained surface that looks clean and purposeful. Because the system is designed for premium coating on plastics rather than general-purpose paint use, it fits projects where appearance, substrate suitability and durability all matter at the same time.
